The horror movie co-starring Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East is now available to stream online through premium video-on-demand platforms. You can buy Heretic on digital in 4K Ultra HD for $24.99, or rent for $19.99 at Prime Video, Apple TV and elsewhere.

Where to Stream Heretic Online

Distributed by A24, Heretic is expected to stream on Max when its current theatrical run is over. The two companies have agreed on streaming deal where Max would be the exclusive streamer of A24 films. You’ll likely be able to stream Heretic on Max sometime in late January or early February 2025.

If you’re not a Max subscriber, you can sign up for the streaming service as an add-on to Prime Video starting at $9.99 per month for the ad-supported plan for Prime Video subscribers. Go ad-free for $15.99 per month, or go 4K with the Ultimate plan at $19.99 per month.

Additionally, new Prime Video subscribers can get a free 30-day trial; after that, the standalone streaming service auto-renews at $8.99 per month. Heretic: Plot, Cast, Run Time

Written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, Heretic finds two missionaries, Sister Barnes (Sophie Thatcher) and Sister Paxton (Chloe East), spreading the Good Word of Mormonism in a small town. However, things take a drastic turn for the worse when they get invited into the home of Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant) with the promise of blueberry pie and potential religious conversion.

The film also stars Topher Grace, Elle Young, Julie Lynn Mortensen, Haylie Hansen, Elle McKinnon, Anesha Bailey, Stephanie Lavigne, Wendy Gorling, River Codack and others. It runs one hour and 51 minutes.
